Welcome to Day 1 of your Level I Thermographer Certification Course…now online!

New for 2016 is this option to take the first day of your Level I infrared certification at a time and pace that is convenient for both you and your schedule!  With ITC’s Blended Learning option you can reduce travel expenses and minimize time spent away from your plant, family or customers.  It also provides a benefit to those who need extra flexibility in their training commitment.

This web-based alternative to the standard Level I training course covers everything from the first day of class including an introduction to thermography, an overview of infrared camera operation, and the basics of the FLIR Tools reporting software.  Students who complete the online module are then able proceed onward and finish the rest of their Level I Certification training (days 2 through 4, 3 days total) for $1700 USD (may be different in other countries) at any one of the convenient locations throughout the United States and Canada.

It is during the remaining classroom-based days of the course that the critical aspects of infrared science, temperature measurement and IR applications are all covered in-depth including additional hands-on camera exercises overseen by a qualified instructor.  This approach to learning provides everything that thermographers will need to get certified and start successfully using their thermal imager to collect data and create reports.

This training module will provide you a background in Certification, IR Applications, FLIR Tools software, and Camera Handling skills.

Benefits of Online Blended Training

  1. Cost – You save at least one hotel night and food and travel expenses
  2. Time – because you take day 1 online, you are out of the office only 3 days (instead of 4 days)
  3. Convenience – You have the flexibility to complete Day 1 online at your leisure
